Sinopsis
Calpurnia Pearson, Nia para los amigos, acaba de llegar de pasar un fabuloso finde en Las Vegas con sus amigas de la universidad, pero ahora le toca volver a amoldarse a su vida doméstica y profesional. Casada con un marido estupendo y madre de dos encantadores (y agotadores) niños pequeños, Nia lidia con la frustración que le causa no poder crecer profesionalmente en la pequeña editorial en la que trabaja. Sospecha que tiene algo que ver con su maternidad, su reducción de jornada y el machismo rampante de muchos de sus superiores y está empezando a cansarse de luchar. Su suerte cambia, sin embargo, cuando un joven jefe parece confiar en sus ideas y capacidades. Nia está entusiasmada con sus nuevas responsabilidades pero también comienza a sentir algo que quizá no debería sentir por su amable benefactor. ¿Se quedará con su “bueno y hogareño conocido” o cederá ante el misterioso y atractivo “bueno por conocer”?

Calpurnia Pearson, Nia to her friends, has just returned from a fabulous weekend in Vegas with her college friends, but now she has to readjust to her domestic and professional life. Married to a wonderful husband and mother to two charming (and exhausting) little kids, Nia struggles with the frustration of not being able to grow professionally at the small publishing house where she works. She suspects it has something to do with her motherhood, her her part-time schedule, and the rampant sexism of many of her superiors, and she is starting to get tired of the struggle. Her luck changes, however, when a young boss seems to believe in her ideas and abilities. Nia is thrilled with her new responsibilities, but she also beguins to feel something she perhaps shouldn’t for her kind benefactor. Will she stick with the «safe and familiar» or will she give in to the mysterious and attractive «unknown»?

Sinopsis
